Behavior Evaluation
Behavior evaluations are performed to test the dogs temperament, drive, problem solving skills, and ability to function as a good member of society. Evaluations are particularly useful when selecting a dog or when trying to place a dog in the right home as well as choosing a dog for working purposes.
Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience at Central Wisconsin K-9 is a 4 week Board & Train program. During your dog's time at our facility with us they will be fully immersed in a result-focused program. Our team uses basic building blocks to construct a well-balanced dog that not only understands basic commands, but has a firm grasp on the communication system used to teach them new behaviors. Your dog will graduate Basic Obedience with the know how and confidence to continue to grow.
Support Dog Programs
Central Wisconsin K-9's Support Dog Program offers a wide range of training programs from basic retrieval and mobility assistance to diabetic detection and anxiety support.
The length and cost of each service dog is dependent on the task needed by the individual.
Working Dog Programs
Our Working Dog Programs offer a unique balance of stable, intelligent, and high drive dogs that outperform the competition. Using Top Tier K-9's Foundation Dog™ system, our dogs begin their training at 7-8 weeks old and are taught multiple tasks that we can expand on to meet the needs of our customers. Some of our core skills include tracking, specific odor detection, apprehension, and obedience.
